Here's the lovely Jamie modeling an almost finished mitten. I've started the thumb (while he was in the bath), but it takes more concentration than I have while he's up and around, so I'll probably finish it up after he goes to bed.

Then onward to start mitten #2! I have a lot of yarn left. I'm thinking about making a hat to go with it. Am I crazy? :)

i have plans for the boys tomorrow. we're very excited to get jamie for an hour or so, and i'm incorporating a science experiment in if they'll let me. but anyway, those mittens are so cute!

Oh, I sent you a text message! :( I hate that you didn't get it, I feel bad now. Jamie was having a difficult afternoon yesterday and we decided that it would be best if we just stayed home for the day. We've been doing so much stuff lately (not socialized, my ass) that I think I need to be firm about incorporating one "not leaving the house" day into each week's schedule.

Jamie's looking forward to coming over, too! :)
