Got my LJ Valentines this morning. Was gratified to have matched two out of my three picks, which for the record were [livejournal.com profile] natalieann,[livejournal.com profile] kerinda, and [livejournal.com profile] grover173, tee hee. :) Was very flattered to also be nominated by three other people, but would you please identify yourselves? I'm dying here! :)

Plans for today include trying to catch [livejournal.com profile] monack's radio show if she ends up doing one, and possibly going to Gymboree for the open play at 9:30. Not sure on that one. We may not be able to get out that early. :) I'd also like to try and find a sappy movie to watch after Jamie goes to bed. Any recommendations? :)

Jamie's been amazing me with his language lately. He has a book about shapes, and we've been reading it a lot lately. Yesterday, he was playing with a puzzle he has with circle, square, triangle in it, and without prompting from me at *all*, he picked up the circle piece and said "circle". He will also now identify circle, square, and triangle in his book. I guess oval is next, it's the next one in there. :)

I hope everyone is having a happy day, even if they're not with anyone this Valentine's Day.

We didn't get to Gymboree. But I did go to the mall. Aside from the Valentine stuff I wanted to buy, I found sales at Gymboree (the clothing store, that is--$9 for a shirt originally $19.50) and Trade Secret (32 oz BedHead shampoo and conditioners, 2 for $22, oh yeah!) so I was a happy camper.

[livejournal.com profile] monack is indeed having her anti-Valentines show tonight, and it promises to be just great, so tune in if you can! Check her journal for the details, it's a live365 show. :)
